Wet rubbing.

Transferring my 2010 iPhone finger drawing, “Grandchild playing with toy” to watercolour paper for reworking as a single state print.  The loop shows the nerve racking wet paper rub to expose the ink pigment left on the prepared grounds. The process softens the image on its new grounds. It also allows reworking with other media including collage.

The paper rub is nearly over with the image retained.. Phew.

This finger drawing made on the iPhone is delicate required some additional finger work with pastel….it is still pretty ethereal.
