A fitting post for today, after Victorians gave the politics of fear a walloping in our State election. Victoria once again rejected fear and division. 24/11/2018.

Our 1972 street party held by the residents of Carroll Street,North Melbourne. A celebration of community action. Multi generational families coming together. Older residents of the street reminisced how this coming together last happened celebrating the end of WW2.
The Geodesic dome was a fiddling and frustrating job to make and assemble ….a kind of Rubic’s Cube of the 70s. It also represented the alternative society for change.
