I passed this building site after seeing the Hokusai exhibition. The workman is likely to be using a sealant gun rather than a spray gun.
The scene caught my eye due to the neat construction site at the rear of the School of Design and the isolation of the worker at the end of the extended cherry picker. The ‘splash’ colours on the wall had synchronicity with the colours used in the NGV carpet design based on a facsimile Hokusai floral print.
